TAFM Fuzz Signal Gone

This morning I'm playing and i start to notice weird screeching and clicking noises whenever i touch any part of my TAFM's enclosure like the pedal had gone microphonic or something, which i wasn't aware could even happen? 
anyway i opened the pedal up noticed nothing was visibly wrong with the guts of the pedal so i shut it back up and plugged it back into my board then i turn it on and realize that the fuzz signal is gone and all I'm getting is the overdriven dry signal from the pedal - none of the knobs except the input gain and clean volume do anything.
I'm pretty fucking irritated as this thing has quickly become my favorite pedal and I only bought the thing a month ago... Is it time to send it in to Brian?
