Which pedal should i build?

Ok, so i bought tons of parts for pedals thinking that i'd have enough time to build several over break.
Break is now almost over and i only have time build one, so the question is, which clone should i build first?
1. Machine
2. Box of Rock
3. Muff
4. Merkin
5. 2nd Wooly Mammoth
6. Wizard Fountain
Cloning zvex pedals is just... it feels satisfying... lol

Muff is the only legitimate answer.

I was not aware that the zvex machine was floating around, where is it? I heard it works great in front of anything so y dont you just build a muff or a wizard fountain with a machine in front.

It's on Free Stomp Boxes somewhere.

Well if you don't have much fuzz already, go for the muff.
If you don't have much distortion, go for the Box Of Rock.
If you already have loadsa dirt pedals, go for the Machine.
That's what I would do!

I think the Machine kinda blows unless you tweak it to where it is beyond the scope of the original intent (internal trimmer).
I'd do a Muff, but the Box of Rock also has a lot of utility.

ok so sad news.
turns out i won't even have time to go build one tomorrow...
i decided to go hang out with a girl instead haha
i think i'll build the muff when i have time again which probably won't be until spring break

You can still fiddle around with a muff...

Box of Rock, sounds amazing at low volume and gain settings, and better cranked all the way up.

Learn some basics, then plug some shit into a breadboard until it's awesome.

like draw a snake like image on the breadboard with components then plug a guitar in it?

Take a basic circuit, and plug shit in.
Replace resistors with diodes and jumpers. Combine circuits. Play with clipping diodes and component values. Flip transistors. Use different types of transistors.
It'll end up being a modified clone anyways.
