I really need to ask these big companies (Fender, Gibson) why they keep catering to these people that play guitar (refuse to call them guitarists) who don't know and respect quality gear or the pedigree of the company they buy from. When the continue to go down to 'their' level, instead of encouraging these consumers to come up a level, it causes people who are loyal to these companies to look at the company and the people they cater to like they're a joke.
I can kinda understand why they would use the Mustang brand, since that guitar was probably originally meant to be a practice guitar. But dang, the people that like these guitars now aren't going to like the amp. Why not invent a new name or a new line? Fender has a history of pimping out their legacy. The new Starcaster, or Jazzmaster amp anyone? I'm sure there's more examples, but I need to wrap this rant up.

I need to go play some Call of Duty and kill some people.

I use a dimebucker for cleans actually...
combined with a single coil, and an edge III...so pretty much a floyd.
