These look pretty damn cool:

Rechargeable pedals! Some more info:

* Worlds first Lithium Ion Cell Pedals
* Worlds smallest Pedal Board footprint
* Artist Quality at an entry level price.
* $129.99 US$ each
* Each pedal has it's own charging circuit built into the device - just attach any DC adapter between 9 and 18 volts to it, let it charge over night and the pedal will be good for 1-2 weeks worth of gigging. No more dead 9 volt batteries, no more nasty ground loops from daisy chained power supplies.
* Jack sockets at the top of our proprietary, custom made diecast enclosure.
1. Red Witch Eve - Tremolo
2. Red Witch Grace - Compressor
3. Red Witch Ivy - Distortion
4. Red Witch Lily - Boost
5. Red Witch Ruby - Fuzz
6. Red Witch Scarlett - Overdrive
7. Red Witch Violet - Delay

...oh my - an innovation FTW! :thumb:

[edit: added a thought]

That might be a good idea, future will show how's the charge time and battery life. I AM a little worried: it might be taht the pedals end up sounding still nothing like battery-favouring-people expect PLUS the cells are in fact just as bad as batteries when they come to end of their life. Hopefully they still come with the standard 9v center negative power plug :hello:

Red Witch pedals sound pretty damn fine to me, You know, nice to see an affordable line of pedals coming from them. Hope this will work out! :)

Pretty sure the Red Witch dude Ben posted on HCEF that they can still be 9v center negative-powered. So that's a plus.

 :) why of course should have checked that but - ILFsters were faster, once again, so no information lost really. Thanks, insubordination for the info. :thumb:

They were talking about doing the ion battery in the DIY forum. Someone must be lurking these boards.

That's what happens when things are discussed publicly.

You do realize that thread was like a month ago? I doubt they got the idea here and then created a whole pedal line based on that idea in that time...

Demos?
Can you charge them on a a standard 9 volt adapter or so you have to have a special one?

These seem really gimmicky. There's nothing new or interesting there and how will you know when your battery is going to run low? And if you charge it before a gig why not just have a standard PSU plugged into it anyway? Interesting idea and I like the uniform line-up but these sisters do nothing for me. :?:

Seem good to me, the battery lasts longer than a normal 9V, I don't need a specific charger to use with Rechargeable 9Vs and I don't have to open the back of the enclosure each time.

If you don't use Batteries anyway, then this wouldn't be for you, for me, seems kinda cool... except i'd just DIY a system rather than be limited to this line.
