i picked up this strat copy for 50 $ at a yard sale about 15 years ago. there are no identifying markings anywhere except the word "Como" on the headstock. the images here are not mine, but they are the same as mine. the owner of these images is also seeking info on the origin of the guitar. he lives in Ontario, Canada. i really love this guitar; it has a HUGE maple neck, and a heavy body which sustains FOREVER. any info on this thing is much appreciated.

Looks like your typical MIJ Lawsuit strat copy.

Digging up info is hit or miss because these went under so many different names. Tokai, Greco, Aria, Ibanez, Venture,....etc etc etc and things can get convoluted.

I'm no expert on MIJ Lawsuit history but the likelihood that it came out of the FujiGen Matsumoto Factory is high.

Or perhaps made in Korea.
