Wiring a dual effect.

I was wondering how to wire two effects (boards) into a box with independent switching for each.
Plus I was looking at being able to add one (or two, one for each side.) starve knobs but how would that effect each side?
aka could you make each one independent so if one side was being starved the other side would still have the same amount of juice flowing to it?
This is basically what I have been working off of.

Thanks~

Yes. Your 9V (red) wire splits and feeds independent starve pots inline with each effect's board.

Splits after the power jack,correct?
And thanks for the answer

Yes, sir! The DC jack feeds outside lug of the two pots with 9V, and each pot's middle lug feeds one board.

Still kind of wondering about how to wire it so each side can be used independently and such with two footswitches. (with LEDs too)
Me--->

(Noob)

dont overthink it. output wire goes to input wire. everything else is the same.

xD thanks that really reassures me on everything...but did you read the warning copyright thing?

I see that is what I was thinking but then I thought about the old Devi Ever twins and how it was just one or both.
I'm guessing she wired the output from board one to the input on the switch two instead of switch to switch.
makes me wonder if I could get mt top boost circuit on my metal muff to work independently.
Anyways thats all of you this basically answered everything I wasn't sure on.

I guess that's why he posted the link, he doesn't host it anywhere else..

that style is not as useful IMO. its just A or A+B or bypass. better to have each effect wired for bypass so you can get any combination. if you really require stomping two pedals on stage you can build a bypass box thats lower on your pedalboard and takes up less space.

Yep - it's way less complex than you'd imagine.
Starve pots, as mentioned, just split from the main DC lug with a wire going to each starve pot, which then goes to each board's 9V connection.
As for the dual-switching, just wire each switch up as you normally would, but the main output just continues to the input of the second switch. The second switch's output goes to the output jack. It's really that straightforward. You're just continuing the line to a second switch, rather than going straight to the output jack. This is the best option if you're going with two separate effects. IE, dual fuzzes, an overdrive and fuzz, etc.
For the other wiring type mentioned, (A or A+B wiring), you wire switch one normally, but the circuit board's output goes to the input of the second switch - which is then wired normally. The main output on that switch goes back to the first switch, making switch two and its circuit part of the main circuit, but only on when the switch is on, like a standard effect. It's a good option for a boost, or octave or something.

The twosome is another pedal that (while i appreciate the idea) frustrated me when i first used it, it had two stompswitches but one selected which circuit to use while the other turned it off/on.... the Blackout guys were very cool to point me in the right direction to make both sides independent and they ALSO helped me do this:

yeah I always thought the stock switching on that pedal totally killed it. like I want to buy two pedals that are stuck in a box and I can only use one. channel switching is cool but I could just build that into simple box on the side if I already had two pedals.
