yeah yeah I know I could have built one for really cheap but I got it on eBay for a pretty good deal.
Unfortunately my ac30 is out of comish right now so I've only been able to test it on a really crappy SS amp I have. The clean sound is useless so there's no sense in boosting it but I play around with it paired with my Fuzz Factory and it's a pretty sweet combo.
I still have a lot of messing around to do...

Even with the level turned all the way down, it'll add some sparkle to your base tone.

I know. But the amp I'm using right now is a major POS. No base tone to speak of and not responsive at all. I can't even tell that the pedal is turned on with the knob at the minimum setting. That's how crappy this amp is. There's no sense in playing with the clean tone.
It's only good with massive amounts of fuzz in front of it.

Nothing wrong with that, says I.

Nice, the only thing I don't like about Z.Vex products is that the enclosure is on it's side instead of upright (for example) an MXR pedal.

I like how they're sideways. They're really not awkward if you plan your board out well IMO. Then again I don't use a board and I don't have a bunch of pedals.
I'd say the only thing I don't like is the price. But I'm happy with my 2 ZVex pedals and I think they're worth it.
I just want to plug this in my ac30. Seriously... What a bitch that ac30 is..
