Broken Switch, Loose Wire, Blown or bad Components, Bad Power Jack, Dead Transformer, Could be anything.
You any good at DIY? Got a Soldering iron? & A DMM? Otherwise you'll have to send it to someone to diagnose and fix the problem so give your location.
What model is it? New or Vintage?

Are you using the correct power supply and does it work?

I work at a guitar store and theres an amp repairer who can do all the electronics stuff
i took a sneakypeak inside and didnt see any wires loose or anything
The weird thing is that it worked when i played it at work but it doesn't now, i think someone put the wrong supply in there and busted the delay part
The huge amounts of GAS i had for this only for it to not work when i buy it, awesome

If it was a Modern Deluxe Electric Mistress & the wrong power supply the worse that should have happened is a few blown diodes a resistor, cap and the regulator, shouldn't have reached the circuit itself.

Is it a big box (vintage) one or a XO box?
One of my Friends has one and when it starts to fuck shit up he hits the enclosure a few times, that usually does the trick, he also does the same thing with his vintage BassMan, and it usually works, worse comes to worse sell it and buy a new one.

These two things are totally smart things to do to gear.
