Does any company make a good clone?

I would like to know this as well!!! I love Shellac. Hahaha

I've got a Frederic Effects clone. http://www.fredric.co.uk/effects/harmonic-percolator I have the blue one. It's well made and has a couple of settings I really love. It was a smooth transaction, I don't have any hesitation recommending ordering from them.
Like most people, I haven't played an original so I can't compare. I don't play an aluminum neck guitar into a super trebley amp so I can't say how well it does the Shellac thing.
I like it either set at a lower gain, overdrivey kind of setting or way up so it sounds like a chain-link fence.
I also like using it to push a Musket. It stacks pretty well with a lot of things.

it probably sounds good but Chuck Collins is a dick who gets eBay listings for clones pulled (he owns the trademark) and not only that but his replica makes it very annoying to find an original Interfax pedal

These still tempt me. Expensive though.

We've all jones'd for one of these at some point. I bought this http://www.etsy.com/listing/10929664/ha ... rfax-exact a few years back. It was kiinda cool but, like many i would suspect, found it to be largely a one trick pony and flipped it. But by all means try one yourself!

I ordered one earlier this week! Will try to report back after I get the thing built. Between Small Bear and Mammoth, I think I've sourced the right parts. Hopefully I won't melt a diode or anything.

I have it now and it fulfills all my Fuzz needs for one of my bands. One of the two pedals I use for that jank. I love it!
