I have spammed McSpunkle too much already so it's time I ask the other DIY guru people a few questions.
Long story short:
Jazzmaster project is on hold with no templates/funds.
Eager to build something
Pedals are inexpensive (comparatively)
Tools galore over here
Pedals it is
Easy pedal so Bazz Fuss
http://www.home-wrecker.com/bazz.html
Now while I wait for some cash I am making a list of question/obstacles and parts I need. Beware however because I am as new to building pedals as a 6 year old to tax dodging.
1. Where to get the parts?
I live in Holland so most american chains will have extortionate shipping rates. Anyone in Europe know of a good store to get stuff? I found a dutch site but it was utterly innavigable. I have a soldering iron, voltage meter and all sorts of tools used in a variety of professions but no perfboard or printboard (what's the difference?), enclosures, jacks, parts or a solder sucker and more specialised things like that.
2. How do I hook up in and output jacks to that little schematic? As well as fit a 9v power supply jack instead of a battery clip and a stomp switch. I get the schematic itself but not how to fit it in an actual pedal.
3. What wattage rating resistors do I need? Ohmage is specified but I wouldn't know which wattage rating to pick.
Anyone who knows the answer to any of these questions: feel free to enlighten me
Thanks in advance!
