I just woke up from a dream in which I found a mini raindrop RRR for $30 at a yard sale. In the dream I kept hoping that I wasn't dream, and I was super excited to tell ILF about my great deal.

They also had an EHX "Lil Fuzz", and a "77". I wonder what those would be like.

I've done that before even to the extent where I went to check the mailbox in a dreamy haze. Mail does not come at 6AM.

Such buzz kill when that happens. Actually just happened to me but I lost something other than gear for once.

Another reason to hate sleep.

In other news, Toronto yard sales turn into bloodbaths, as ILF'ers souring for pedal deals turn on each other with the hopes of getting $30 RRR's.

Never before have so many ugly lamps and half-broken vacuum cleaners been turned into makeshift weapons. Never.

I have such dreams too, like I got home from a gig, unpack my flightcase and discover I have some nice and Vintage non-existing Mojo effects, one with sounds so cool that I can't remember how it sounded, cause it was different from everything that exists.. And I was not using LSD or Mushrooms or something

I have trouble remembering 99% of my dreams.

I don't remember many dreams neither, but for the past two years they've been full of guitars, amps, pedals, and shows.

I had a dream a few weeks ago that i was down in a basement somewhere (n.b. my house has no basement) going through old stuff and found some old rusty E-H pedals from the 1970s in a milk crate which were gaffer-taped together base-to-base, one being a fuzz with an analog delay and the other a phaser with a ring modulator...in the dream i couldn't figure out why the pedals were taped together like that, but i realized after i woke up that this would be a great idea for two-pedal attack modules to plug into the feedback loop of the Truly Beautiful Disaster. no doubt someone already thought of this back during that period when the frat-boy noise bands a la Wolf Eyes were the rage in WIRE magazine, but i was kind of impressed that my subconscious came up with an idea i could use. not to mention the idea of a ring mod/phaser combo...w00t!
