The thrad in which I ask how this sound was gotten?

So, this new Mogwai song is pretty great, and I'm curious as to what fuzz suggestions you guys have that could get something similar to the main guitar part.

Sounds like a fuzz face. I have a Stomp Under Foot Hellephant which can cop that tone pretty well.

Yea it sounds really thick and articulate.

try using open strings like he did.

this is beautiful
it almost sounds like its split between a clean signal and the fuzzed signal
at least in the very beginning

They are really fans of compact small pedalboards with short signalchains
But I love Mogwai! I can always listen to them somehow..
