New Fiesta Red Acoustic Day

:omg: :omg: :omg:

I love Fender guitars. In particular, the necks. So, on finding a Fender Acoustic, with a traditional Fender neck profile, and in Fiesta Red, I had to pull the trigger. Not only that, it was a Black Friday deal, so the price was like $120 off. :omg:

I got it last night, and LOVE it. It's exactly what I wanted in an acoustic. Out of the box it had a perfect setup, and was close to being in tune.
The electronics are surprisingly good - good sound, very clear, and responsive EQ'ing. It sounds great unplugged, despite having a slightly smaller body than the average acoustic. Nice and full, but without sounding boomy.

Did I mention it's Fiesta Red?

These pics don't do it justice - it has a nice salmon-ish tint to the red, kind of like a slightly aged Fiesta Red.

I love the fact that Fender puts out acoustics in their classic colors. I don't know of any other company that has acoustics in Fiesta Red, Shell Pink, and Surf Green. :idk:

I recorded with this acoustic (It's a Malibu CE, by the way.) last night, and the results came out amazing. The pickup in it is fairly bright, so I boosted up the bass and dropped the mids and treble, but it sounds amazing.

I can't get over how it plays - no buzzing anywhere, great action, and a fast neck. It reminds me a lot of my Jazzmaster's neck, which is great.

Mine was $180 shipped. Not bad at all for an acoustic electric, let alone a good one. The thing plays like butter - I've been recording daily with it, and it's just perfect for what I want.

It hates my Marshall stack though.

Something about playing a red acoustic through a red Marshall stack seemed awesome. My ears are still ringing from that feedback. :poke:

Probably not, unless there's some serious demand for an acoustic being played with fuzz.
