what if you rub deep heat , tiger balm, icy hot etc etc etc on your germanium transistors to warm them up on a cold day

I think this is hilarious
However, those balms don't actually change temperature, but change the way your brain perceives the pain (& temp).

I have always preferred just to pop them in the microwave for a couple seconds.
