I was playing starcraft 2, winning, doing real well with this new concept-build I was working on
and I get dropped from the game
dunno why but my immediate reaction was to smack myself on both sides of the head...
I had the headphones on
SHAPLOW
I take em off...something doesn't feel right...I inspect

I used to have expensive headphones like that....except that i am a menace and a set of headphones rarely lasts over a month with me....you see i have special knobs in my lower kitchen cabinets designed to catch my cord just right so that it violenylt jerks it out of my ipod and eventually one channel doesnt work. ALTHOUGH i think i may be getting some of those monster cable beats because theyve gotten pretty good reviews and have (what a novel fucking idea, seriously has it taken them this long?) REPLACEABLE CABLES!!!!!!!!!!! :omg: :omg: :omg: :omg: :omg: :omg: :omg:
ALSO, according to the commercial i will get really laid because of them.

The Beats do have replaceable cables, but the ones that come with the headset aren't that long; maybe four feet. The lesser length though may be good, and thwart the plans of those kitchen cabinet knobs. I do know that the cable is a snug fit into the headset, so I wouldn't count on the cord releasing from getting tugged at.

Ultimate Ears headphones have replaceable cables as well, although they do not have a model designed by Lady Gaga. Pros and cons.

Thats why i got my expensive ass headphones through guitar center, if i give them 30 bucks or something, they give me this warrenty deal, where if i brake the cans in any way, i can get reimbursed. for like three years, as long as i have the receipt. they just send me a check no matter how they brake. i fully plan on snapping them in half in a year or so.
:)*

that sucks though,

I thought the Solo HD ones sounded better that that set; they seemed a little flat. The Solos have a bass bump, but it tames a bit after a little "burn-in" time.

HOLYFUCKINGCORKSNIFF!
also, why is the polycarbonate on mid-level headphones so shit? my stupid Boses broke in like 7 places (they were free, don't judge me!), and my Audio Technicas just broke at the swivel last week!

While we're all on the topic of headphones..I was just wondering...can somebody give their opinion on Koss Titanium Series headphones?
I use these for mixing, but I'm beginning to worry that they aren't "true" enough...it seems like my mixes sound alot different on these than they do when I listen on regular speakers.. :erm:

I treat my Senn HD-650s like babies. Which is to say I put them in a blender and use them to fuel my car.

Wait...

You play Starcraft 2? Hey, me too, though I'm not very good yet. Just gold scrub. :animal:
