And other dirty sounds.

I'm using a 50's CV strat, and I'd like a little more push/sustain/beef when using my fuzz. The only thing is... Can I have that and have similar volume levels compared to my neck?

Any suggestions?

Have you checked out any of those "strat-sized" humbuckers that Seymour Duncan offers?
I don't play a strat, so I can't be much help here...but they have sound-samples of all (or almost all) of their pickups on the site.

Lace sensor red? I don't actually have any hands on experience with it, but I've been considering swapping out the Lace Sensor golds in my strats for the blue/silver/red setup to get a little more oomph out of it.

I've had a JB Jr. in my strat for about eight years now. The emphasis is on the upper mids and highs. I play psych scuzz stuff sorta like Royal Trux, Monoshock, High Rise etc.
