I wouldn't do it, but you can use Loctite to secure stubborn nuts. Use the weakest one (blue, I think).

Hot glue works well on tiny LEDs (and LDRs!). They do make bezels for them, but I haven't seen them at the usual pedlolz supply places.

I love the smell of solder in the morning.

You can use super glue for the LEDs, but you'll have to drill it out to change it, most likely.

Alternatively, mount it right to the footswitch or jack.

Pedalpartsplus had 3mm bezels last I checked.

I tighten the hell out of the jacks on my pedals. Usually they stay pretty well. :idk:

As for the LEDs, as others have said, hot glue works. However, I'd recommend going with a 3mm bezel. It looks better (in most cases), and is a more standard size to drill. Plus, LED's do go bad now and then, so changing it won't be an issue if that happens.

I can't be bothered with bezels of such insignificant stature

1/8" works fine for 3mm LEDs. :idk:

Are you using internal locking washers? They work wonders.

Lock washers work great. Can find em for pots and jacks at local hardware stores but they are thick. I think small bear has them and they are probably the thinner kind....

I seriously can't figure out why pots don't come with lock washers. :grumpy:

Or why toggle switches don't come with decent washers...
