A while back, I bought this Curve tape from the local record store:



Thing is, it's obviously some very simply made, low-budget version of the release... I can't find anything online about promos, early releases, or anything like that though.

What do you think? Just a homemade copy someone went to a lot of trouble adding label info to?

Whatever the case, it's all good since it was 50 cents or something, but I can't help being curious.

95% sure it is a radio station promo cassette... looks very similar to the ones we used to get when I worked in college radio, which would have been about the same time 'Pubic Fruit' came out. The label contact info is a dead giveaway (most record store promos have distro info on them).

Also, I will totally give you $5 for it.
