we're so negative here in the general discussion forum guys. we need some good vibes. <3 why are you happy, excited, or generally content?
i'm happy right now because my friend's currently abroad in japan and she said i can buy a japanese guitar through her! she also said that there's a lot of used instrument shops around her too, i'm totally stoked to see where that goes.

After 10 months I'm FINALLY almost done refinishing my bass. Tomorrow I'll coat it one more time and then it'll hang for a month before the final steps.
There were a lot of setbacks and I probably spent more on materials and parts than if I had just sent it off to someone to do it for me, but I learned a lot about refinishing in general and it's pretty interesting. So the monetary aspect doesn't bother me.
