A tacoma. Literally. Any tacoma. You can get them for <$500 and they're the best bang for the buck out there.

Seagulls are great guitars for the money.

It's more expensive than the ones you've been looking at, but I'd either save up a bit or try to find one used.

I like Seagul for cheap. :idk:

If you can mic it, or install a mic in the guitar, do that. My Breedlove is seriously the first piezo type I've liked the sound of that isn't stupidly expensive. The electronics matter -a lot-.

I bought my girlfriend an Ibanez Exoticwood (swamp ash) for Christmas a couple years ago. It's really nice.

Seriously - Research and then purchase an acoustic guitar made by Recording King. Effin fantastic quailty, great playability, quite reasonable price... then go buy a Fishman acoustic pickup for like $60. If you're not happy with that, then you should probably just stick with fuzz.

I got a Fender CD220 SCE a while back and I really dig it. The Fishman electronics in it are pretty dec.

As nbabmf mentioned earlier, Ibanez exotic wood series is nice, i have a satin ash one.

After that I say Takamine.
