usually i buy already painted to save the hastle
but this time i was doing a motherload so decided to give it a try

painted them dried on hooks for a week
then decided to take them off and i put them on my amp
went to class for the day came home and theyve glued themselves to my amp
i had to use a spatula to scrape them off

so fun :picard:

oh yeah and the clear sticker paper i spent 40 dollars on didnt work and my printer wont eat them more fails

I found an enclosure on the ground the other day with gravel embedded in the paint and had to start over. That's the disadvantage of air drying outside.

Yep. I had to put the last round of boxes in the garage, where it's warm but also now very stinky. for two days per coat instead of one outside.

Rustoleum Hammered and their clear coat do not get along well. They react similarly as enamel and lacquers when you spray one over the other. I waited a day for it to settle and hit it with a couple more coats of clear to protect the fudged part, and now it looks kind of cool.
