I am really interested in one of these bad boys. The price seems right and they look cool as hell. I have played a black top Strat and LOVED the neck and sound. Have any of you fellow fuzz heads played the Jazzmaster model? I need input before I order this thang!

I LOVE mine. So much that I'm actually considering a second one in black to throw a Phat Cat in the bridge of.
Great guitar, and I highly recommend them.
If you want to hear the humbucker, check out the humbucker demos on my site - I used the JM for all of them. It's a bright, chimey humbucker. I hate HB's, and I love this one.

Buy one, put twelves on it, jam on the P-90. That's what I did.
Seriously that guitar is super sweet.

I assume he's referring to putting one in the bridge. The neck is your standard JM pickup - I've heard people say they prefer it to AVRI JM Neck pickups.

Whoops, flubbed that one. I meant the neck JM pickup.

The middle position sounds ridiculously good as well.

The only thing i dont like about it is the trem. I would really have been happier if it had the model with the locking button. Is it possible to just buy one of those and put it on?

It should drop right in. It's a standard Jazzmaster trem rout.

Neck pickup is a standard JM pickup rout - Bridge is a HB rout. The rest is standard JM routing, sans the rhythm circuit area.
