Noisemaker Effects Contest - A Very Noisy Christmas!

As a Merry Christmas to our customers, we're holding a Christmas contest this season. We've designed a limited edition pedal for just such an occasion - the Christmas Crush Limited Edition Fuzz.

Every single customer who places an order with Noisemaker Effects between November 1st, 2010 and 5PM PST, December 15th, 2010 will be entered to win Christmas Crush #1. On December 15th at 5PM PST, I'll post a drawing video, where I will pull one name at random from a stocking (first name, last initial, and state, to ensure privacy), and that person will be the winner. The Christmas Crush will be shipped out on December 16th, free of charge, via USPS Priority, to make it to the winner in time for Christmas.

The Christmas Crush itself is quite the unique fuzz - it's snarly, biting, and really crunchy. It even has a slight hint of upper octave in there.

In addition to giving away a Christmas Crush, we are also selling them (numbered #2+) up until the same date and time (5PM PST December 15th, 2010). After that, we will retire the design permanently. They are available now on www.noisemakereffects.com for $60+Shipping each.

For full details on the Very Noisy Christmas Contest, or to place an order for a limited edition Christmas Crush, check out the new section for it on www.noisemakereffects.com - it's in the main menu at the top of the screen.

Now for the goodies - Pics and clips of the Christmas Crush!

Not to be cocky but I'm going to win this pedal.

If we buy more pedals can we get our name in the hat more times?

is the circuit identical to the standard Crush fuzz, or is it totally different? :?:

Each order gets entered in - so, if you place an order today, and then place a second one before the cut off on the 15th, you'd be entered twice.

The circuit is based off the Crush Fuzz, but with some modification. On paper, it's quite similar. The actual sound output is night and day - two very different fuzz tones.

So it wouldn't be redundant at all to buy a Crush Fuzz to win the Christmas Fuzz. Good.

Also, it occurred to me that if the drawing is on the 15th and you stop selling them on the 15th there won't be much time to get one if I don't win the contest, will there be a little leeway in ordering time? I mean, I guess it's always possible to lose.

There will likely be a little bit of leeway. I have a set amount in the batch, so if there are a few left, they'll still be available. I won't be making more, so it just depends on how they sell.

It definitely wouldn't be redundant. They're VERY different sounding. The Crush Fuzz is a much more mellow fuzz - smoother, more sustain, etc. The Christmas Crush is harsher, heavier, and crunchier.

Yep - Big Sky Country!

I'll be sure to slap a "Hand Made in Montana" label on your Crush Fuzz's box. :thumb:

Slapped on. Right above the "Handle With Care." I don't use them all the time, as most people don't really care. :idk:

Glad to know you're a Big Sky fan as well!

Sounds good!

This entire contest is just making me feel all Christmas-y inside.

I want to start decorating. Stringing up lights, get a tree, and all that fun stuff. I've already got Christmas music playing. :yay:
