So I was in the process of ordering a 1 knob silicon fuzz pedal from Mike @ Rhythm and Detonation(check him out) and I hit a financial snag from buying too many other pedals. Low and behold I get an unexpected package from Mike yesterday. I open it up and this beauty is looking up at me begging to be stomped.
We talked about doing the Hammer of Thor and he nailed it. Glaciers in the background, automotive white paint and a white MXR knob make this thing look cold and nasty. LOVE IT!!!

This was a special case...hahaha. I have bought several pedals from him, turned a ton of people(friends and strangers) on to his builds and I feel like we have become long distance buddies. I am sure he wont do this for everyone. I think it was his way of saying thank you for spreading the good word of Rhythm and Detonation in such a feverous manner. I really have been putting his site link on every forum I visit and just gushing about how much I love the pedals he has made for me so far(Dr. Boogie, SHO, Zdrive,Tone Machine, CE2 clone and the new one). He is a really nice dude and easy to work with. I dont think the birthday thing is a normal practice though.

Hmm...I might have to check this company out. What kind of prices does he have for the clones he makes?

He is really fairly priced. I got in on them when he was starting out so the prices I paid(and pay) have been a little less than what he would charge anyone else. His prices are great though and he does insane work.....inside and out. He does almost anything. He stays away from delays because he says that you can already buy delays for what he would have to charge. He builds a number of dirt boxes....Rat,FKRat,F. Factory,OCD,Zendrive, Dr Boogie, Foxx Tone Machine, SHO,Muffs(with mods), he made me a CE2 clone that nails the sound. He is open to ideas as well. If you got something in mind just email him through his blog.
He even made a rack mounted dual Muff getup that looked insane.

I'm almost certain he posts here in the DIY forums. I've seen a lot of those pedals in the DIY finished projects sticky. Always enjoy those posts.

thanks jesse.
Jesse has ordered a bunch of pedals from me and is a really cool nice dude. We talk all the time on gmail chat and I consider him a friend. It was really fun to send him a pedal for his birthday and honestly a 1 knob si fuzz face doesn't take alot of time or resources
I don't really advertise my stuff on any of the forums because a lot of forums have rules against that stuff or you have to be an official forum sponsor to advertise your services. I am not doing this as business thing at all. I play drums for a living and do this on the side for fun mostly. I think if I had to build the same pedal more than once I wouldn't enjoy it as much as I do. but if you guys need something built hit me up. i pretty much stick to distortion/overdrive/fuzz and I am not afraid to tell you NO if it's something I can't do.
