Gifts of Gear

So, the holidays are coming up and I always ask for pedals and what not, the only thing is most people only have like $60 to spend on one person, because of all the gifts that they have to give. So my question is what should I ask for that, is at the maximum $60, or what could a bunch of people chip in on?

If yr into Devi's new $50 line you could go for one of those,

BUT!

$60xwhoeverisgoingtogiveyoumoney could get you a more expensive/more pedal(s) I guess.

That's a lot of fun for $60!

Noisemaker Effects pedals are like $50, I have a Crush Fuzz and really dig it. It's well-made and works nicely on bass.

Not much of a reccomendation as I don't really know what $60 will get you, but I do know for $60 you can get a Dan Electro Cool Cat Vibe, which if you always wanted a Univibe, can't be beat on a price point really and sounds great (if you can mod a bit with a soldering iron too you can sort out the 2 issues people have with the pedal, it takes a second to kick in while the bulb starts up and the volume Boost, both easy with a soldering iron and a bit of know how).

You can probably get an EHX Nano pedal round that price too I imagine?

I stand corrected, we all need one of them, infact i'm questioning while 5 minutes after finding out about it why I don't have one yet... it'll go immensly with my EHX Drum Kit.

My parents always ask me for a list of cheap-ish things I want for Christmas, I think that may be going on the top. Looks like tons of fun for the price.

Pete and Colin, you won't regret getting one.. it sounds awesome and is really cool to play with.

Pretty sure I can get into Depeche Mode with mine.

I have one of their theremins, it's pretty cool but very unusable, i think that their new pedal would be cool to have but again very unusable, especially in a band setting, or in my band's setting.
