does a 500k joystick exist? or how can I change the circuit?

I'm trying to build an APC with a joystick and all I can find are 10k and 100k joysticks. the circuit has two 500k pots right now but I want to replace that with one joystick.
here is a schematic. so do I change something else in the circuit to make it work with 100k pots?

I think 4Site does customs, but you'd likely have to buy a lot.

You could put the joystick pots in series with the 500K pots, and use the 500K as "range" controls.

Try it with 100k pots first. You might be pleasantly surprised.

have the joystick pots control the voltage of an LED/photocell pair or vactrol. you should get a huge range

it's also a pain in the butt...
but you could take the 100k pots apart and replace the rings with 500k ones...

all very good ideas, thank you. I'm a noob so all my knowledge is theory more than experience. I was already thinking vactrols (LED + LDR). but I'm reading that the actual range of the vactrol never goes down to 0 Ohms. 0 is important for this project cause the oscillator has to go down to 0.1Hz. also what ever I do its gotta be small enough to fit in this tiny ass box. click my sig for a picture. I was also looking at daul jfet's although I dont fully grasp how they work. and I dont know if I need inverting or non inverting. should I build or buy my vactrols? and where o where would I get the rebuildable joysticks from?

thanks for your help :hello:
