Hey guys I just ordered the CCB that looks like this...
Image
but with a joy button.

As I'm sitting here waiting for it I'm terribly anxious to give it a go. Anyway, I was wondering if any of you could tell me what kind of luck you've had with some of the pedals on my current GAS list in the loop of the CCB
I don't currently own a ton of modulation pedals but
The pedals I'm currently looking to get my hands are...
MXR Phase 100
EHX Stereo Electric Mistress
EXH Holy Grail Reverb
and probably a Wilson Freaker Wah
so it'd be good if any of you could tell me how they or pedals like them work for CCB feedback craziness

I'm also curious if any of you have tried using an envelope filter in the loop of a CCB (as I quite like the sound of them in general to begin with.)

Anyway, I'd better give you all an idea of the rig I'm running.
I mainly play bass. Usually either a Fender USA P-Bass or Ampeg Dan Armstrong Bass.
But I sometimes play guitar when I do I use a Mexi Strat.

My amp setup is as follows
Sunn Beta Bass which runs to a Sunn 2X15B Cabinet
Sunn Concert Bass which runs to an Ampeg 4X10HLF Cabinet
& for guitar a
Sunn Beta Lead which runs to a Marshall 4X12 Vintage Modern Cabinet

The pedals I run live currently are
EHX Q Tron
Fulltone OCD
90's RAT II
I also have a few Big Muffs and Boss pedals laying around I don't really use anymore.

Any help or insight is appreciated. Thanks.

The ocd allows you to write Morse code. I imagine the filter will sound great. The wahs I use make a whammy effect.

anything time based:

phase
flange
delay
reverb
pitch (these can create crazy stuff)
etc

I can't wait for mine, I can already tell I'm gonna want to get another one with a joy button too. Or maybe a custom Utter Stutter with a Joy button?

Could such a magical thing exist?

So mine was here when I got home from work today. Double disc CD included (thanks)

I dug out a crappy old chorus pedal and it actually sounds really good. Something I'll definitely enjoy using with my new band. The joy button is just really cool on top of it all glad I had it added to mine.

Hopefully I'll be able to get up a video when I get some more effects.

Thanks again Lawrence.

it's been developed in the lab. might be something that could be offered custom. it would need a much bigger case.

...And this is why I love hand-made pedals. No better way to spend my rent money.

As long as it's hand-painted, yes.

Oh no, I meant it was cool as long as you asked me in a hand-painted way.

I can see how that was misleading
