gonna use this thread to dump stuff from time to time...maybe

working title:

Some Dreams Give Hope, Others Remind You There Isn't Any

lyrics to title track:

the telephone woke my hands this morn
and the rest of me went back to sleep
my thoughts echo the sounds from outside
it sounds like the ceiling is crying
the rain makes it sound like this world cannot be dry
and the rest of me refuses to wake
but my hands cannot sleep
so they slowly circle me
admiring the sounds
of silent grief
yes i've friends out in distant lands
and though I'd like to see them
they would not like to see me
not like this
memories are bliss
see time doesn't heal so much as it corrodes
to the point that regret
can no longer be sustained
and I will sit back
and watch the clouds break
and watch my coffee slowly growing cold

I'll have an early version up hopefully in a bit, and by early I mean I'll record it on my iphone, email it to myself and post it to sound cloud lol
