Hey, kids. I'm trying to get a pedal working right, and I can't find any info. I basically need to know how the Cherry Pop/Workhorse tone control is wired. So! Anyone with one that wants to take a look...

It's acting screwy, though. Oscillates way too easily, which you'd expect from a feedback path like that.

Yep.
Everything is pretty much at max gain. If you want to bring it back under control, the first thing I would do is put a small resistor (less than 1k) from the emitter to ground on Q1 and Q2. Play with the values. Your basic gain formula is (collector resistor)/(emitter resistor). You have some feedback resistors and caps changing that as well, but those are important to the overall sound.

Oh, I posted that schematic to see if it was correct. I'm just trying to make a pedal work properly that had some loose wires, and that was the only part of the circuit I didn't know.
You're right, though. Some emitter resistors would be great for this circuit...
