Photos of your setups for sound performance.
Contact mic'd Monarch piano plate. Signal into ODB-3 Bass Overdrive, Frequency Analyzer, Yamaha E1005 Analog Delay amplified by a
Bonehead Engineering " Skullcrusher " driving a 2-12" EV loaded cabinet.

When you hear music, after it's over, it's gone, in the air. You can never capture it again.

Just fixed my shaker box, and here it is with my home "fender" amp making sure it does something.

The version for tonight.
This really needs to be stereo.....
Contact mic'd piano plate into ODB-3 Bass Overdrive, Korg SDD-2000, Roland SRV-2000, Bonehead Skullcrusher, 2-12"s EV cabinet.
Finally getting dialed in.

Looks really cool, what way(s) do you get sounds out of that?

Any and everyway possible. Just think extended / prepared techniques.
Here is a rig from last week.....
8 track recording meter pegged pre-amp noise out to an Advent Frequency Balancing Control
and onto a few distortions.

Cool to see multiple yamaha delays in the same thread! that older yamaha rack gear is stout.
@delaydecay - can you give us the rundown on your setup there? some interesting pieces in that mix by the looks of it...

thanks! its a pretty simple set up.
on top of the yamaha delay going into its input 1 is a music from outer space weird sound generator set to low drone.
the silver box with all the black knobs is a trogotronic 666 noise/oscillation/distortion unit and its output is going into a DOD passive mixer into input 2 of the delay.
lastly i have a shakerbox going into a devi ever bit mangler with the chaos switch engaged for oscillation, and thats being feed into a akai headrush e2 in delay mode with the feedback tweaked to slight oscillation. than the output of that is going into another channel of the DOD mixer and into the input 2 of the yamaha, just like the trogo.
its all sounds like a weird staticy, pulsing, screeching, malfunctioning machine traveling through time.

Yea, I thought it ironic to see 2 of them here...one of them used to be mine

Nice to see it in good use, Steve!

No one else ?
Exploring those “ out of the static and down in the hiss “ signals and sounds. Almost the finalized rig for an upcoming first Friday gallery opening. Concept inspired by a young performer with a laptop, 2 - Bose L1’s and ……………earbuds.
This is largely a collection of family heirloom and personal gear..............
Panasonic T-100MD Shortwave radio and Kenwood KT-7500 am/fm receiver feeding their own channels into the Craig 8 track recorder. The 8 track is recording the radio signals at deep in the red levels. Output is y-d out to a Realistic 5 Band stereo graphic EQ and a Biamp TC-60 stereo power amp. The amp drives an antique pine shelving 2-10 cabinet with a Celestion and a Peavey Scorpion.
From the graphic eq into a Realistic ST-14 stereo cassette recorder again recording deep in the red on out to a Realistic 4 channel mixer. The first output is fed into channel one of a Sears Silvertone 1484 amplifier. The other mixer output is into an Echoplex EP-3 set for sound on sound with the output going to channel two of the Silvertone. The amp is driving a $10 flea market found , home brew speaker cabinet. Beauty incarnate. Particle board and simulated wood grain stick-on shelf paper. Realistic 15”, Utah 8” w/whizzer cone and 6” Realistic horn. Crossover by Realistic. Much of the interconnecting cables and plugs are………Radio Shack.
The pre-amps of the 8 track and cassette have a wonderfully, grainy high end.
The Grand Funk Railroad “ On Time “, Capitol 8TX-307 cartridge documenting the raw radio signal.
I’ve lucked out…..no ground loops.

The Bose sounded SURPRISINGLY good.
