Sustainiest fuzz?

So I've got gated fuzz, splatty fuzz, and oscillating fuzz. What do you recommend for wailing, sustaining fuzz?

Can be classics, clones, ILFs or not, and not massively expensive (250 tops, preferably much less!).

Thanks!

Big Muff or Jumbo Tone Bender
Even better, Deluxe Big Muff w/ the compressor built in

Fuzzhugger Great Wall and the Foxx Tone Machine are probably the two.

Both will sustain as long as you hold the note and with a bit of tomfoolery will continue to sustain as you slide between notes.

Torns Peaker or Muff I'd say. in my experience. which isn't huge. :idk:

The Big Muff originally came out of Mike Matthews trying to make a sustainer pedal, so I'd say that's a great start. Also, as was said, a compressor will also add tons of sustain to any fuzz pedal you like. The Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone is what I use for tons of sustain.

Blackout Effectors Musket?
It has a shit load of sustain. Not sure about the most though.

This is slightly off topic but what was the pedal/trick used on The Toadies song Possum Kingdom? There are several parts in that song where the note sustains forever.

Oh and my 2cents are either a Big Muff or the Hyperion, and my Swollen Pickle does pretty well also.

dunno if you guys know this but every fuzzhugger pedal is actually a muff clone of some sort or another....if it has more than 3 knobs the pots arent wired to anything....its called "true, true-bypass"

subdecay F bombs are pretty over the top for not much coin.

Most Skreddy Pedals offer tons of sustain just as some of Paul Trombetta's designs.
They are at least my favourite.
