Space Echo Owners

so long story short just got a space echo 150
now the delay sounds as good as you know it does
mine doesnt seem to oscillate? hmm is it just the nature of these beasts? i can kinda hear it start to for like 2 seconds then it just fades away as much as i throw at it :lol:

ive had it for like an hour and its stopped working twice tape lulz

pretty sure there's a feedback trimpot inside there somewhere
(at least there is on the re201)

the tape jumped out twice
i took off the plastic to watch the tape then it jumped out of the metal plate off the side and i was like GAHHHHH TURN OFF TURN OFF before it got tangled :lol:
then it jumped off the heads how i dont know all i know is that it stopped delaying and i was like ummmmmmmmmmm??

Tape and heads are likely not making contact properly.

First, don't take off the plastic shield, it is there for a reason.

Have you cleaned you heads? Also could be the tension springs, if those are too tight or lose that kind'a shit can happen. Also you will want to get your self a tape head demagnetizer if you plan to use it al lot.

speaking of these trim pots where abouts are they and how dangerous is it :lol:

like caution u could die or like amateur i know enough but have not enough balls to go deep
