...the Algal Bloom!!!!! I am excited!!!

You should be excited. I just got an AB (my 3rd FH fx) and have been so busy with it that I haven't posted here in almost two weeks. It's strange, I've gotten my board right where I want it (for now) and instead of posting about it here I'm actually making music with it!

I ordered one of the in-stock one of a kinds. Hopefully I wont have to wait really long because I am so excited to get it!!!

the algal bloom is such a versatile pedal! i got mine about 4 months ago and still find surprises in there, and it plays so well with others!!!

you can look forward to an awesome weekend after this one lands!!!

Cooooool. Did you grab that one with the green lotus print on it? That thing looks fooooyyyne.

That pedal was the inspiration for the custom Algal Bloom I ordered from Tom... same dope lotus print with different color artwork and some silver knobs.

It's sitting right here, almost entirely built up. Realllly excited about this one!

Thats the one!!!! I love the way it looks. I will try and post a demo video once I can pry myself away from it.

That's the next Fuzzhugger pedal on my list. I have the Chalice and an Arc Flash, and they both do some extremely different things. It will be cool to find out how the AB fits into the fuzz list.

mine came in the mail at home on tuesday, and i'll hopefully be coming home from college friday to mess around with it.

saturday i'll be going over my friend's house to play it with his strat through his modded Marshall thats basically an old plexi at this point.

UPDATE:
plugged it in to a bad AC so i had to buy a new one (@Tom i think i sent an email, so i guess disregard it, haha!) playing it on my guitar through a hartke kickback, and i was just strumming power chords to hear harmonics for a good half hour from everyone's ravings, and all the demos, it always sounded like the fuzz pedal equivalent of a dude/ladyfriend you can take home to the parents, hang out with the gang, AND have some fun alone. thats pretty much true.

Got mine on Friday and my new nephew decided it was time to escape his mothers womb!!!!! I did not get a real good chance to sit with this pedal until just now and let me tell you....although it is not as unbelievable as my new nephew(Jonah)....it is pretty fucking awesome. I love this. My new main-stay fuzz. Nice and simple, mellow if you want it to be, crazy if you want it to be. I just love the texture of this thing. Great for playing huge chords with lots of sustain. Thanks Tom!!!!! Cannot wait to order my next FHFX pedal.
