personally i'd try the elk and if it sounds as described it'd be in my garage ASAP. blues deville can be had anywhere. the elk, not so.
of coarse if it sucks then....well......obviously don't consider it.
let us know how it goes...i'm curious as a kitten about that amp.

I wouldn't recommend the CC1, it doesn't sound very good to me... and if you'd like to use the amp with a drummer, you could lose the clean sound
i'd buy the fender

i'm not familiar with the elk, so i can't judge

The ac15 won't stay clean for very long. I would go for the Elk almost entirely because it looks sweet.
And that's all that matters.

I'm really torn between the fender and the elk.
I've been wanting to switch to a combo. That and I've always wanted a tweed....
But that elk really did catch my eye. I may have to go try it out.
I just feel like it might be a hassle to repair if anything happens to it.

My decision was made before I even saw what it looked like

have you heard of them before or anything?
I read a bit and found out that there are 7 tubes in it. 4 different types I believe.

Don't know how it sounds but I would definetly try the Elk seems pretty rare, there are enough fender and vox amps coming by in the future I think..

I've played a bassman styled one before, sounded great. They are pretty hard to come by & that one looks to be in great shape. I have tried to get every one of these that I've found but nvr end up with it.

Get the Elk. Much better made and way cooler than the Fender.
The reverb tx is not a big problem, nor is the tank.
