Picking this up off the Tulsa Craigslist with a trade and am planning on modding it. I just don't know what exactly I want to do with it. I do know I don't want to spend more than a couple hundred dollars on this thing.
Anyway, what do y'all think?

Mwaah! Well, no picture then.
This guitar has to two single coil pickups and one humbucker in the bridge. I was thinking of changing out each of the pickups, but I don't know what I'd put in there. Suggestions? Anyone try the Seymour Duncan Invader?

I don't want to search.......
What Don't you like about the current pickups?
How is it built?
what type of bridge does it have?
What woods?
I have the precursor to the Seymour Duncan Invader. It is a good sounding pickup with more output then really needed for most things, but if you want to blast something without a booster it works. I found the highs a bit shrill stock but for some odd reason when I put a cover over it [gibson style, I drilled the cover to fit the poles, removed the pickups pole pieces put the cover on and put the PP back on through the cover

] it smoothed out.
What sound are you shooting for anyway?

Yeow, Mudfuzz with the hard questions.
I don't actually know what the current pickups sound like since I haven't picked it up yet. I do know that middle one cuts out and will need some work regardless. The stock pickups are Magnaflux IV single coils with a Magnaflux II UBC humbucker (taken from the Westone webpage). It also had a push-pull tone pot for phase reverse. I believe the neck and body are both maple. It has a Floyd Rose style trem with locking tuners.
Basically, I just want to turn this thing into a powerhouse. It will probably be used most in a metal setting.
Thank you for your help, Mudfuzz.

Should this image work, mine looks like this one.

I use an invader and a dimebucker in my ibanez...
The invader has tons of crunch if thats what you are looking for.
At least in the bridge position.
