Best amp for my fuzz, not best fuzz for my amp.

Sorry if this is been discussed...but what's the thought on the best amp for Fuzz? Good old tone bender germanium fuzz. Ratty, spitty, raw, and rude fuzz. Smooth fuzz too of course. Currently using an AC30 and a Deluxe Reverb..but I'm itching for something else for whatever reason. So, who has experimented by matching an amp to your fuzz collection rather than finding fuzz pedals that work with your amp, and what did you find out?

Hmmm...JTM45 isn't one that was on my radar, but I can see how that would work....big bottle power tubes with maybe a little softer preamp to take the edge off the fuzz just a touch..unlike say a Fender Twin/Pro/Bassman. I love that AC30, but the it can get so squishy at times, especially when I'm hammering the hell out of it with a MKI stacked up with a PPF or whatever. And I have no idea what will happen when the Snowdrift get's plugged into this equation, but I assume it's going to play nice for the most part. I like the thought of that JTM actually..nice call NW.

Yup, along the same lines as NW's suggestion, an old, tweedish design with higher headroom would be ideal
My bassman was amazing with pedals
My swart is also amazing with pedals, but very little headroom

That pretty much sums it up doesn't it Dev...just got done with a MKI > AC30 session...it was heaven.

I like a little amp breakup with Fuzz Face and Tone Bender types, and a big loud clean amp for Muffs.

I have a Fender Hot Rod and it takes all my fuzzes well. The lunar module it tits through it, as well as, the tone reaper. A Hot Rod may not be the best amp but is is pretty versatile and most pedals sound great through it,not just fuzz. YMMV.
