There was a mighty Uproar!! (now with sound clip)

Long story short, I bought a Suhr Riot to see what made it tick. Well, now we know how it ticks, and so the illustrious madbean set out to make a fun PCB layout for all us DIY types (it's called "Uproar"). I immediately etched a board, populated it with funky parts, and verified that it worked. But it just sat in my bin for weeks and weeks. Until today, my friends.
Okay, so this is NOT an exact 100% Riot clone. The clipping diode switch only has two options instead of three (and I used different diodes). The tone control arrangement is the same, but the cap values are different (tweaked for my tastes). The bypass switching is mechanical, rather than the relay-based switching on the Riot. And there are no fancy power-up options or any of that useless crap.
I'll do a sound clip later, but to me it sounds like a really pissed off Rat. It also sounds a bit like the Barber Dirty Bomb (which I also traced).
I had this cool temperature scale knob that I found at a HAMfest about a year ago. It's been waiting on the right project, and this one is definitely it.
So here we go.
