I dont understand what you are asking? I would probably start with an ad on CL.
I do love the drums, bass, and keys 3 piece.

Basically just people's recommendations of tunes, and also if anyone's ever been in one, stories on how it was, how the writing went, how gigging went, so on so forth

I'm in a duo - my bandmate plays keys & sings, I play fuzzbass, and we have sequenced beats. We've been playing together for about ten years - used to be in more "conventional" setups, but we got tired of bandmates quitting (or having to fire them) for one reason or another.

I like it a lot, though decision-making has actually gotten harder - you can't have voting blocks in a two-piece!

Writing was hard at first, because we weren't able to jam out to figure out songs like we used to. But I think we both became better songwriters, because we had to be able to write out songs more in advance, and be able to discuss them more coherently than before.

Also, I can play whatever fuzz pedals I want without having the guitar player bitch about me "taking up their space." HA!

So all I gotta do is find a keys guy, drummer optional. Like Nosebleed Academy!

My band N@MELSS is a trio and half the songs are Keys, bass and drums and the other half is guitar, bass and drums. And this is why my pedal board is so big. Really we need a constant forth or even fifth member[s] but there are a lot of time where we end up playing as a three piece. The part that is hard[ish] is that all the key songs existed before I played with them and were originally left hand key parts.
