TV Jones looks awesome.

You could get the same visual effect of a Pitbull with an X2N with a chrome cover. And they're spec'd similarly, so if you were to change out the magnets, they'd probably sound similar.

'tis what I'm doing with GFS Power Rails. But, eh, I'm cheap.

I've never used either pickup, so clearly I'm entitled to have an opinion.

I have never used a pitbull but I have played a Gretsch bass before, my guitarist has Rios in a guitar and they are good pickups.
Right now I'm leaning twards the TV because that was actually my original idea back when I was thinking of building my own body for this.

I would put thundertrons in my Ibanez artcore and possibly my peavey t-40 but i think they would look pretty ugly.

I haven’t tried the pit bull, but love the sound of old Gretches so voted Thundertron.
