Let's talk about the Ground Swell.

How does that sucker do on high-gain settings? I really like overdrive with a lot of grit, and I'm not into the whole super-duper compressed/smooth thing. I don't care if it gets me more sustain or whatnot, I just like nice open drive with some beef. I think Tom said it was designed as a very natural sound with minimal compression right? So what's the dealio? Anyone use one in high-gain applications? I've been super interested in them as of late, and I know they're discontinued but I still wanna know :idk:

I have a custom groundswell oscillator and I love the OD a whole lot. It can get pretty mean sounding with the gain cranked and the starve down. I will have to shoot a video...

I remember that demo you posted, sounded pretty badass and with the oscillation it was just plain gnarly. I'd really appreciate a clip with the gain cranked

the groundswell is nasty! the blurzyhugger is gso>afo and it is a shame that the groundswell is discontinued. if i have time i might make a clip today as well...

Here is another one I did, but this focuses more on the Oscillator side.

:thumb: good... it's a VERY underrated pedal to say the least... mine will NEVER leave my board. I use it as my "clean" tone on bass.

Isn't it just a rehoused Dark Boost?

Nope, it's a Fuzz Factory without the oscillation circuit.
