I was actually gonna ask about Alberik's (.cut) bit crusher. he was talking about it on CKUT with neil last week.

Ahhh yeah, when was that, the 31st? I'll have to check the archives. You mean this one? That pedal isn't a true bitcrusher (no bits), but it can be dailed to sound like one. It's samplerate reduction with a resonant synth-like lowpass filter. With the resonance up, it sounds really rude! Alberick likes it a lot. The 6 knobs are samplerate, filter, resonance, volume, gate and blend if memory serves.
