a lot of us have the same view of Devz and her pedz.

She said it doesn't work with anything high gain (ie most her fuzzes) and she doesn't want to fix it, so at that point my interest went way down. :idk:

I'm into it. Love the sounds in her demo clip. Could see it being really cool with modulation / delay / reverb stuff.

Do you mean with fuzzes running before it? Because in the demo she has a Hype in the loop and it seemed to work fine.

Didn't she say it actually worked better with high gain because the loop already has a little bit of grit to it and turns it into a kinda synthy distortion?

This is the jamz, f'real tho. Anything that allows me to be more dynamic with my playing and not need a board full of expression pedals is titZ.

I really like the idea of it, especially the LED indicator that shows how the looped effects are making it through the gate. Cool stuff. I probably couldn't figure out a way to make it sound cool but that's cause I have the attention span of a goldfish when it comes to tweaking effects :animal:

devi ever : fx - Bad news guys... Heaven's Gate doesn't play well with gainy pedals.
Eric! - In the loop? Or in general (before/after)?
devi ever : fx - In the loop. I'm still messing with it, but it's very weird. I mean, it's not to say using gain pedals is impossible.. the Hyperion is usable with some tweaking... but for some reason the Rocket is totally freakin' out, and a Boss DS-1 won't let any clean signal through. I'm not giving up on the bastard... and it might just be wanna of those learning curve situations... still releasing the ****ers regardless, because it sounds great with modulation / delay.

I've been a supporter of this pedal since the start.
Though I didn't expect it to cost $275.

I'm not questioning te value, but that's a lot to drop on a pedal regardless of what it does.

I was also VERY VERY surprised that it costs so much.

+1

BTW - I am NOT trying to take any potential business away from Devi, but you might want to also check out the Toadworks Enveloope, which is a similar effect for $200.

I thought it was $200 for it? Toadworks seems better all around imo, but the heavens gate will no doubt have some cool artwork... Or not if it's like the war horse silliness.
