Recording Engineer.

I think he makes an appearance on the Fuzz: The Sound that Changed the World movie.

I'm too dumb to put any stock in to recording engineers, producers, whatever. I couldn't tell a god from a peasant.

Just Heart-Shaped Box and All Apologies, I think.

Pennyroyal Tea was remixed by Scott Litt. Released on teh Heart-Shaped Box single, I believe. It was then "officially" released on the newer record with "You Know You're Right". It really does sound better but the fact remains that Albini made all of those tracks sound amazing. I'm over the whole Nirvana thing at this point but In Utero is a timeless album, aurally speaking. The guitars, the drums... it all sounds so alive and aggressive. It's the kind of record that an aspiring audio engineer ten years from now will listen to for inspiration.

Indeed. I was 13 when In Utero came out, and was blown away with how BRUTAL Scentless Apprentice and Milk It sounded. So different from Nevermind, it was hard to believe it was the same band.
