A 15-20 watt tube amp should get ya there :thumb:

Check out the Princeton and Deluxe Reverbs from Fender. Also, the Blackheart stuff is really great. I've been gigging with my little 1x12 15-watt Handsome Devil combo since I bought the amp back in '08 (I think?) and it's never let me down. I'm partial to combos rather than heads/cabs so I can't help you in that department much.

If you don't need a tube amp, try finding any of the old Jazz Chorus varieties. The clean sound is to die for and they're built to last a nuclear winter. Oh and they're loud as all hell.

I've recently been coveting the Vox AC15. My local music shop has a used one for $379, so I'm not really sure why I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I also think the Night Train looks like it's worth checking out. If money were not a concern, I'd definitely be getting an Orange. Can't go wrong with an old Fender tube amp, though...I have also been coveting a Pinceton Reverb...

the egnater rebel or tweaker sound really good and are priced pretty well. The rebels have selectable wattage making them suitable for any situation. They also have a blend knob that allows you to blend 6l6 and el34 tubes.

I would also recommend Satellite amps if you want to go a more boutique amp route...their pricing seems pretty reasonable for what they are.

I own one and am about to buy 3 more, they are fantastic little amps and boy are they loud for a 6" solid state, tube-sounding goodness unlike anything.

x 2 Bogner Shiva.
Great clean sound, can be very loud and takes pedals well.
Used ones are floating around for acceptable prices.
