A lot of gear purchases lately.
Tell me about your newest gear...What made you buy it? Impulse? Must have? Upgrading?
Let's hear it!

Bought a Pignose the other day! I suppose it was impulsive, but it's very convenient. The first one I got was a dud though and I had to take it back.

I bought some of those SE Electronics Instrument Reflexion Filters and the Project Studio Reflexion Filter. My drum overheads sound a lot better now. These were something I've been wanting now for a while! Next on the list is either a Twosome, Whetstone, or El Capistan. I need to find some things to sell first though!

I've been through a bunch of gear lately. The pick of the litter has been my Fix'd fuzz, Turbo Rat, Noise Box, 616, and PDS2000.
And I'm probably gonna ditch the 616 for an El Cap.

Fender Blacktop Jazzmaster. I've been looking for another offset after selling my Jagmaster, and these got leaked/announced at just the right time.
It should ship out early next week.

After serious consideration and loads of time researching which suboctave pedal I should invest in, I impulse ordered a Mini Wolf CPU because of Scott Pilgrim of all things.
So totally worth it.

I love my Lyt Pedalboard, but have seriously been looking at it lately saying "I could build a base for it, drill some holes to route the wires under the board, etc.." I think another order from Pro Cable is in order.
As for the OP, the last big thing I bought were my amps; a Phil Jones Briefcase and Suitcase with 4B extension cab. I was looking for an amp manufacturer that would have the smaller combos sound just like the bigger ones. I use a small combo for theatre pit gigs (small area, always have a DI to FOH) and a bigger one for band use. The PJB Briefcase I bought on the eve of a three week theatre run, and it performed better than I could've imagined. It sounded great and allowed me to have it turned up quite loud without impeding on what the soundguy was doing (he commented on that himself). Shortly after the run ended, I sold my current big amp and bought the Suitcase with extension cab. So far, it's been all sorts of fantastic.

Seriously thinking of picking up an agile baritone, even before selling off any old gear.
Sick of setting up guitars every time I want to tune down 15 steps

My last purchase is my Ab-Synth

ILF played an important role in choosing it.

Thank you
