for me its always get a good chunk of cash saved up (over 500$) then something fucks up that needs attention asap. like my car. hence why i just spend money on pedals like crazy when im broke shit usually doesnt go wrong *knock on wood*

Damn,...I wish shit like that would come up on CL around here. Usually it's "Check out this Sweet Piece of Shit Below Entry Level Toy Guitar" or "Awesome 200 watt Solid State Guitar Amp" I've literally got money to spend and no one around town to give it to. I can't even find anything worth buying from the LGSs, and I refuse to give Guitard Day Care Center my money (they ain't got anything cool anyway except maybe dunlop repros of Way Huge stuff and that's only marginally cool).

Seriously. Although the rare good deal does pop up now and again, too often it's shit gear (misspelled, mislabeled, etc, etc) for hugely inflated prices.

It's funny, around here, it's always the same dudes who are selling the good stuff. A few of the reguarls Email me/text me when they have something they are about to/already put on CL.

The rest of them....rubbish.

My local craigslist is crap. I've sold stuff on it, but never seen a good deal, or anything even worth buying. It's always the same old crap. $300 practice amps, $500 Epiphone LP Specials, EXCALLARNT BEGINNUR SNARE DRUM $250, etc. It's ridiculous.

It also seems like in the past ~6 months or so it's become pretty barren as far as buyers go. Because of the same reason. A year ago, you could throw something on there and sell it in a day or two. Now even at a great price it will sit for two weeks before getting even a bite.
