Browsing Rondomusic I just found this:

Agile Argus Toast Black Extended Scale Guitar for $399!
http://www.rondomusic.com/argustoaskbk.html

# 30" Scale 6 String Guitar By Customer Request !
# Solid alder body and a beautiful maple neck with rosewood fingerboard and 22 frets which helps deliver excellent tone and sustain
# The design of the neck and adjustable roller bridge provide excellent action
# Two dual coil (humbucker) toaster pickups with 3 way selector with 1 vol and 2 tone knobs.

I hate that headstock, but the rest is pure secks!

URGH.

I have no cash though as I need a new amp, and my tiny amps currently would be a shit combination with a baritone.

Some day...

Yeah, now I am wondering if I should just buy this to try out rather than go ahead with my double neck shorty-bass/guitar project.

Hrmm.....

I really want one of the Schecter Hellcat VI's. The look/sound pretty awesome too.

What's it like to play a bass VI?

Hows the tension/spacing/feel of it all with those string gauges?

It feels like it is right somewhere between a bass and a guitar.. They are a bit of a odd animal and to really get the most out of them you have to play it like a bass VI... They are a lot of fun. Tension, now for me that is the prob... they are on the floppy side inless you put together your own set... a 90-95 on a 30" for me is way to lose for "normal" bass playing, but, in context....

Yeah, that's kinda what I figured. I like more tension in my strings.

I have been debating between this and my shorty bass/guitar double project. The dbl is eeking this out, even if just for lulz sake. :thumb:

Actually I have always wanted a bass and bass VI doubleneck.... no real reason why... I just think it would be hella cool.

Since we're talking about short scale basses/baritone guitars, what do you guys think about the Ibanez MMM1? 28" and it's always kind of intrigued me...
