Beavis Devolt On One Spot Daisy Chain Ya'll!

Mmmyello.

HEY I've been putting together some fuzzboxes on my Pedaltrain Mini. Got a OneSpot and the 5-bonk daisychain... one tuner, four fuzzes.

I found that the Catalinbread Merkin sounds waaaaay better with a "sag" option, specifically the one I used with it on my Pedal Power 2. The PTMini can't hold a PP2, so I got the OneSpot.

Just discovered (and read a few posts here) the Beavis Audio Devolt. On their website, it shows that you can do (if you want) OneSpot into Devolt with the daisychain on the out (which I wouldn't do). They also show that you can use it like OneSpot with daisychain to max-powered pedals, then do a separate OneSpot (or other adaptor) with the Devolt (which I also wouldn't do).

They DON'T illustrate what I'd like to do, which would be power the tuner and three fuzzes with 9V from the OneSpot daisychain, then run the final plug on the daisychain into the Devolt and then that to the Merkin.

I assume it would work fine, but I don't know.

It would be nice not to have to open the damn thing up for a battery everytime, but I can do that, too, if the Devolt won't do.

Anyone else use a similar setup with the OneSpot powering other effects straight and then a Devolt off one of the daisychain plugs?

THONKS

I can't see why this wouldn't work. The Devolt is just a pot inside a box, so it's just adding resistance. As long as it's not in between the main OneSpot plug and the daisy chain, it will only effect the one power line it's connected to.

Exactly, worked just fine when I used to do it. I took apart my devolt though cause I needed 9v jacks for other pedals :p .

Sweet. I figured what I suggested would probably be like the LEAST harmful thing you could do with it.

Anyone have an easy time getting a Devolt? I know that EVERYONE IS BUSY, but... I e-mailed Beavis Audio about a week ago and haven't gotten a response yet. That's fine, just wondering if they're still actually doing stuff.

?

LALers. Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking... Why not get a custom ILF model?

PM'd.
