i dunno i thought their cover was kind of weak, if you're going to cover a replacements song the vocals need to be raw or emotional, and they had neither. the trumpet was cool though, but then everything is better with horns to be honest

it by no means holds up to the original version, and i think CEG would have done it better. fuck, i probably would have done it better.

I didn't watch them all but:

Owen's "game of pricks" was awesome.

Coheed's Smiths cover was incredible. It's funny how you can pick out a Smiths song by Morrissey's cadence, regardless of who's performing.

Superchunk's "in between days" was pretty standard, but Mac's guitar and tone were pure SEX!

Swell Season's "two-headed boy" was driven by Glen's voice. Man, I love that shit. So intense.
