Wouldn't it be awesome

If there was like a Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory type thing for Fuzz/effects pedals?

Imagine how awesome it would be.

"Here we're actually making REAL Fuzz Faces - they actually have fuzzy facial hair growing from the case!"

"We built a time machine into a flanger so we can get Through-Zero without any delay!"

"Here we've built a looper pedal that actually makes you physically replay what you just played over and over!"

"Here are the vats where we grow the Klon clones..."

"We managed to make a phaser that makes the most psychedelic sound possible; by actually phasing your tone in and out of reality!"

"This is a pedal that makes your guitar sound like Vin Diesel."

"Here's a fuzz pedal so fuzzy that it actually distorts the shape of your leads while playing!"

"We call this effect the "comb filter". The frequencies coming through a sufficient large speaker actually comb your hair for you while you practice, thus saving you a lot of time before your indie gig."

"This pedal makes your guitar sound like a piano. Being dropped on top of a fat lady."

"This goes up to 11. No, it really goes up to 11."

If anyone would have this it would be EHX. Mike Matthews is the raunchy Willy Wonka of effects pedals.

Yeah, pretty much. I love the Willy Wonka-ish feel of EHX pedals. ZVEX tries to do something similar but it didn't stick.

EHX pedals are so pricey though, sadly, and a lot of them aren't as usable as they first seem unless you use them in conjunction with something else(like in the Effectology videos). I wish I had enough money and space for a ton of EHX pedals. They really are the best company.

+1 @ Mike = Willy.

They have such a huge range between the ultra-cheaps and the uber-spendys!

Instead of buying Wonka bars, you'd have to buy an pedal. And instead of a golden ticket, you'd need to find a fake cockroach (or wooden nickel) like inside Malekko's effects.
